Is Bruxy a heretic? Bruxy Cavey is former teaching pastor at The Meeting House in Ontario, one of the largest churches in Canada. As the church grew, some of Bruxy’s doctrinal positions have been strongly criticised by certain Reformed voices. The word ‘heretic’ has even been used.
Seeking to bring clarity to the discussion, Reformed pastor Paul Carter interviewed Bruxy for The Gospel Coalition Canada and published it on their website. In this discussion they revisit some of the key areas of controversy – penal substitution, inerrancy and pacifism.
